Two exciting updates from CodeStream, both of which will translate into fewer emails in your inbox. First up is our Slack integration. Once setup, all of your team’s messages on CodeStream will flow through to the channel of your choice on Slack. You can even reply to those messages right from Slack, and the replies will get posted to CodeStream. Definitely a good option for teams that have developers not currently using Atom.
To set up the Slack integration, go to Atom’s command palette (under the Packages menu) and search for “Codestream: Slack Integration”.
We’ve also made a change to the way email notifications work. To keep the emails to a minimum, we’ll only send them when you’re specifically mentioned in a conversation. A little farther down the road we’ll give you more control over your email notifications and allow you to control them on a repo by repo basis.
We hope you like these new features and encourage you to share your feedback below.

New Relic CodeStream integrates all of your essential dev tools, such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Slack, Teams, Jira, Trello and more, into VS Code, Visual Studio, and any JetBrains IDE.
During our daily stand-ups we demo features in development to allow everyone, which now includes you too, to stay in the loop and provide early feedback.
