In-IDE Code Review now in Private Beta

With CodeStream 6.4, our private beta of in-IDE Code Review has been added to our JetBrains extensions. The beta, released last week for VC Code users, includes the ability to request and conduct code reviews inside your editor.

  • Use jump-to-definition, your favorite keybindings, and other IDE tools while conducting a review
  • Request feedback on WIPs, including code that hasn’t yet been pushed or even committed
  • Request and conduct code reviews without switching tools or breaking flow

If you use VS Code or JetBrains and would like access to the beta please shoot us an email at team@codestream.com.

Improved Notification Settings

Many of you asked for the ability to keep email notifications on while turning off desktop notifications. We listened.

The top section of the settings page is unchanged, and still controls what codemarks and code reviews you follow. The "Deliver notifications via" is new, and allows you to decide if you want email notifications, desktop notifications (VS Code and JetBrains only), both (default), or neither.
