CodeStream 5.2 - More sophisticated repo matching

David HershDavid Hersh

CodeStream uses remote URLs to make sure everyone on your team sees codemarks displayed in the correct files. As long as everyone has at least one common remote URL for a given repo, CodeStream will know that everyone is dealing with the same repo. With v5.2, our logic for determining whether or not teammates are looking at the same repo gets a little more sophisticated by taking into account commit hashes in addition to remote URLs. For example, if a teammate forks a repo but doesn't include the upstream remote URL, CodeStream should still be able to match that fork to the same repo other teammates are working with.
